who we are
St. Mary and St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church was founded in 2013. We are an apostolic church that dates back to the times of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Apostles. The Coptic Orthodox Church was founded by the the Apostle Saint Mark.

We exist to transform lives in the Carolinas through an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ founded upon the life and teachings of the Orthodox faith
Our Vision
We believe that the Church, the Body of Christ, is alive today in the same way that Christ, the Head, is alive as well. Therefore our aim is to continue in the footsteps of the Orthodox Church and follow the faith given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ and His Apostoles
Who leads us
Our Bishop, His Grace Bishop Peter was ordained over the new Diocese of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky on June 12, 2016.
Our Priest, Fr. Beniameen Morgan has served as the leader of our Church since 2012. He grew up in Giza and was ordained a priest in 1989.
